It’s probably easiest if you hear it straight from me. The story behind why I started this and how is deeply meaningful, personal, and significant to me. The passion I have for my fellow colleagues and our well-being collectively as nurses is more than just a hobby. It’s a mission.
My passion project has grown from an idea and a dream into an aspiration to reach millions of nurses. We deserve it. Nurses give everything they have to heal others, to help others, and in selfless service.
It is time to thrive in the profession we have dedicated ourselves to. The Code Team encompasses curriculum, training, support, and community. Our podcast End of Shift is real, raw insight into the conversations nurses are having about … everything. It’s the sit-down, after shift, put our feet up session where we get real with each other and any of the public that braves the listen.
Each aspect of our curriculum is a targeted intervention, crafted from the most up-to-date evidence and research to give today’s nurses of all levels, the edge they need to succeed. Holistic whole-patient healing, coupled with active input therapy and self-work reinforces the boundaries of the Non Negotiable Nurse, leading them to their most authentic and powerful self. It’s time nurses learn how to care for themselves so they can care for others. Many of these processes are not new to us, we use them and educate on them all the time. They have never been presented the way you will engage with them here. It will give you a perspective and depth of understanding that fulfills the devastation burnout in nurses causes.
We have faced many things together over the years, the pandemic and COVID 19 being just a few of them. Many nursing professionals are in transition at a time where nothing is standard operating procedure anymore.
